Can you imagine if he stayed instead of Bailey? Man we just make all the wrong moves and have all the wrong things play out. Who is pumped for the NW game tomorrow?!?
Got me wondering what really stood out for him this year. 3P% I guess? Also playing more minutes.

He went from one U ("University of Indiana") to another.
MR was never staying at IU - He was bitching and moaning about mean fans and was a Woody lover - he was gone before Woodson packed up his office. Can you imagine if he stayed instead of Bailey? MR had a very solid season with the drop in competition to the ACC.
As a Fr and So, it was easy to envision MR as a senior turning into the player he became this season.
When you look at all the other transfers out the last couple of seasons, one has to wonder why it's such an overwhelming turd fest?
Rice, Mgbako, and Tucker all finished the season injured and not playing. Not good when they did play.
Cupps, Newton, Carlyle, Duncomb, all mid major players at best.
Gunn and Banks, the Depaul duo.
Gunn probably a tweener starter or 6th man as a senior, if he were at a top third team in the B1G.
Banks not a high major guy as a senior.
@middawg still convinced Mack will be really good if he gets healthy and 100%. He didn’t play at all this year was shut down very quick.
Not surprising. He'll play in the g-league
What is mind boggling is the amount of talent last years team had, and they finished about the same as this year's.
I was a big fan of MM going into last season.
Looking at this season Yaxel had a Michigan, thought for sure Mack would have been a better shooting, but with a little less defense, version of that last season.
One thing is for certain, Mgbako has a chance to finish his college career in the top 20 of career college basketball earnings.
Curious to see if he portals again after collecting checks this season.
Doesn't seem like many schools have been signing players to multiple season contracts yet, so doubt he's currently subjected to that.
Let free agency begin!

Whats amazing is that there were 10 former IU players playing at other D1 teams this year.
That is what you call inefficiency.

He had 2 more FG shots per game, shot over 1.2 more 3p per game, but most importantly, he shot 2.3 more FT's per game. He shot 5% higher FT% rate too. He was a focal point and he delivered. I didn't see him play but I imagine he wasn't getting the ball in the high post and asked to dribble drive to the basket like he did under Woodson. The biggest issue though still seems to be his rebounding. It's crazy he was never able to improve upon that in any season.
@yothn I remember him as a foul machine but he averages only 3 or less. Seems like he'd get 3 in 3 minutes a lot of times.
@yothn he has tiny hands. Tamars dad always use to tell me he couldn’t get any rebounds cuz his mits were so small.
Has to be the haircut
I bet right about now Reneau thinks he wasted 3 years before finally playing for the right school.
It will certainly be interesting to see if he guards TKR against Purdue.
