@iugradman Dolson isn't getting fired and the mismanagement of the program isn't solely on him either. There are many, many reasons why the program is where it is.
They keep hiring bad coaches. Now there are probably many reasons for why that keeps happening but that's the reason.
The DeVries hire is all on Dolson. He has to own that.
Hard to accept that many of our players are seniors...they need two more years of development

Years of meddling by people who are not involved in running the athletics department.

They are mid-major seniors. Becoming clear that they just aren't prepared to play at this level.
These refs can't see a travel or double dribble to save their lives...ridiculous
Bad hire and yep it's on Dolson. It's on Dolson imo for keeping Woody. If he had any stones he'd have out his foot down and made a stand against that larceny

At least partly but he wanted to hire Dusty a year earlier. I'm also sure Whitten blocked him on Beard and Wade.
Iowa gets up 12 but IU shows some fight and the Hoosiers have cut the lead to five points at the first MTO of the second half. They had a few chances to make it a one-possession game but came up empty and Stirtz gets another bailout call as he creates contact off a shot fake. #3 for Iowa appears to be sticking his hip and backside out on his screens on nearly every possession but it has not been called yet.
Stirtz doesn't play like he came out of the mid-majors.
Stirtz is getting a call EVERY time he attempts to score. Conor Enright fouls him shooting a three and Stirtz extends the lead back to ten points.
Stirtz flopped. The ref isn't watching the game.
IU forces a shot clock violation and they get the ball coming out of the second MTO, trailing 43-49.
A problem IU needs to come up with a solution for: Tayton Conerway is basically carrying the offense and he's also currently tasked with guarding Stirtz. He's already looking tired and clearly can't keep it up for another 12 minutes. So, who steps up?
IU cuts it to 4 but yet ANOTHER moving screen gets set as Stirtz hits a three and Conerway turns his ankle trying to get through it.
That does not look good for Conerway and IU.
