Bailey is such a pussy
41-27 at halftime. After the 16-0 start that put Indiana in a huge hole, IU outscored the Cardinals by two. Of course, last I checked, that 16-0 start DOES count. Tucker DeVries with nine points, no one else has more than 5. Indiana will need to get off to a quick start in the second half and do everything possible not to pick up DeVries' 4th or Conerway's 3rd.
Just an extreme lack of talent. Love Enright but he didn’t start for DePaul last year. We have mid major talent. You can play hard but at the end of the day you have to have some dogs. We don’t! I guess we spent the $ on football. Let’s hope it works tonight!
I’m most surprised by the play of TC. Seems like he forgot how to play basketball after getting bodied up a few times.
This team looks like shi! Anyone know DDs offensive philosophy? We look much worse in person than we do on tv. Is it too soon to gin up the Fire DD noise?
Not impressed
Go IU!
So disappointing. Can’t remember a sports team I like going from one I’m genuinely excited about and love watching, to one I genuinely dislike in less than a week. Maybe Tom Allen’s team after the Covid year? But even that took a few weeks. I’ll pay attention to them again when it sounds like it’s worth paying attention to. CDD? Take him or leave him, at this point.
Rough first half. We cut it to five after 16-0. Then it got out of hand again.
Either heavily out athleted or soft. We have little finish near the rim.
Not getting homered, but that call on Sisley for his touch of a guy from an official who was totally screened who had no chance to see ANYthing, still has me pissed. They made the terrible play and bald ###### rewarded them for it.
@drjb Yeah, it would have been great watching that foul prone black hole for another season.
@drjb he had no interest in staying and playing for CDD. Whatever the reason is for that…is IUs problem right now. And I’m not even a fan of Malik’s. But…
1) Elite level big didn’t like CDDs system or pitch.
2) money wasn’t there
3) CDD didn’t want a big like Malik, even though basically every other college coach in the world covets players like him.
no matter the reason, it resulted in guys like Malik and Hansberry playing elsewhere. And IU looking like a D3 team this last week.
Anyone know DDs offensive philosophy?
Shoot a high volume of threes at a low percentage. That's it, I think.
Lets hope for improvement during the year because today we are not good enough.
While I regarded God as a tyrant I thought my sin a trifle; But when I knew Him to be my Father, then I mourned that I could ever have kicked against Him. When I thought God was hard, I found it easy to sin; but when I found God so kind, so good, so overflowing with compassion, I smote upon my breast to think that I could ever have rebelled against One who loved me so, and sought my good.” C. H. Spurgeon
Pat Kelsey was an IU fan. He would have come here last season. Dusty May is an IU grad. He would have come here last season. Instead we got Darian DeVries. This program is a joke. Dolson is lucky Curt Cignetti exists.
