Curious what latitude their could be to possibly play Drake or Harris this season while also preserving their redshirts.
Would guess CDD is somewhat schooled on this topic coming off the NCAA Goode decision last summer.
Goode really could have helped this team in these B1G road games.
Go Hoosiers!
@middawg By rule, if Harris or Drake play in a game, they would not be eligible for a redshirt. Now, rules are apparently merely suggestions in college basketball now so I don't know how much enforcement power there is but that's the rule.
At least on TV, it doesn't look like a large crowd at Pauley Pavilion. I also know there was a west coast Hoosier contingent going
#iubb Tucker DeVries hits IU's first three nearly three minutes into the game UCLA leads 4-3
UCLA leads 5-3 at the first MTO. The Bruins are defending IU exactly how you should, aggressively denying the three-point line and daring the Hoosiers to hurt them with the drive. Without Tayton Conerway, there is really no one for IU that can consistently do that. It will be interesting to see if/how IU can get open looks.
IU's offense is off to an ice cold start, but it's only 5-3
Very physical and scrappy start on both sides. Indiana's offense, to be blunt, has been awful and has not had answers against UCLA's defense. IU has five turnovers already and only 7 points. On the plus side, the defense and rebounding have been good and Reed Bailey just finished a shot through contact. 7-9 Bruins lead at the 2nd MTO.
IU has a chance to make this a 1 point game. It's ugly both ways, but IU could have been in a huge hole.
