Feels like we need a W to start really believing that the recent streak is turning into a trend. I think most were expecting a split at best on this trip but a win would hopefully give us real momentum and a good crowd for Wiscy on Saturday.

This may sound odd coming from me, but I think IU is going to smoke USC and beat Wisconsin this week ... and jump into the Top 25 at somewhere between 19-22.

I normally follow the score on the ESPN app while writing my novel--I haven't watched much this season--but I may have to make time moving forward. From what I've read and the little I've seen, it seems like IU is playing with more urgency and intestinal fortitude. Nice to see, especially considering that was lacking during Bigfoot's tenure. 

USC gets to the line a lot and we foul a lot. On the road with B1G officiating, that gives me a lot of concerns even if we're playing well and they're not they're going to get bailed out repeatedly and keep it close.

Will need to grind another one out.

On paper we win it, just looking at metrics.
