@seyton For sure. I've got 3 more behind my senior. But none of them are bball junkies like he is. Obviously I'm fully behind the others, and their interests too... I'll be posting something about my junior boy, and sophomore girl... and not wanting their HS stuff to end either. But right now, I'm facing the excitement and the finality of my oldest's last season in HS. He likely will play in college, somewhere. But from my own experiences, that just isn't the same.
The line is no surprise---K State is not all that. A loss to Nebraska and two one-possession wins over Cal and Tulsa isn't impressive.
Contrary to some opinions, this isn't some sort of measuring stick game. If IU is any good, this shouldn't be close.
The score was almost exactly as I predicted (85-71). Never worried this game.
I thought the line would be a lot closer but it wasnt a bad line at all. I was way off.
We started so strong it was a very comfortable game to watch. A few nerves when they made it close briefly, because that was a good run by them. But not for long.
Enjoyed seeing us rebound. We have some athletes who can do it. When they have that want to. I was critical before, that we apparently dont put even the slightest emphasis on boards, in practice. Coach said there was, coming into this game. It showed. We used our hops instead of size.

Right now KSU is looking similar to Marquette, in that 75-80 range. It’s still early, so it’s possible one of those teams could move their way up to being a tournament team.
I wouldn't say 'woof', still a decent win, but it certainly doesn't strengthen our resume.
It's OK, hopefully our games have been the right level for Coach to have the team ready to go. It really starts now.
