man he was awesome in the post game interview. No one would play us, they got to play us now!!! Balls, emotion, something IU could realllllly use.
oh and F the badgers!!!
98% of brackets busted on that one, probably.
Scott prefers beta coaches with weak, trembling voices. There are good mid major coaches out there. IU just hires the bad ones.

You guys are just making yourselves look stupid with this kind of shit. Why don't you go fishing or something?
I'm sure a decent percentage of folks picked HP since 12s are notorious for pulling upsets.98% of brackets busted on that one, probably.
That said, my dumb ass picked Wisconsin ... but I had them getting beat in Round 2, so today's loss won't send a ripple effect through my bracket. Unfortunately, my wise decision to advance McNeese into the S16 is a multi-round blunder. Oh well.

High Point has a first year coach and they lost to 3 of the 4 best teams they played this year. Not a one of those teams would have been higher than 18th place in the Big Ten.
We should sign 3 or 4 coaches for a year, and each one gets a third or a quarter of the schedule. That should be enough time to judge their press conferences and sideline attitude. And as long as they know the deal going in, it's fair to everybody.
Keep the buyouts small.
Ahh - it is that time of year where we want every player that has a good game and every coach that pulls an upset should be the IU coach-
@tr32 Not to mention he took over for Alan Huss, who built the program the previous 2 years and left Clayman a pretty darn good situation to walk in to. And what coaching tree is Huss/Clayman on... Doug McDermott... who else is on that coaching tree? Darian DeVries.
I did like his postgame though. And Cav might be on to something with how he answered the questions, and what that says about his overall personality. Just not sure if I'm wanting to get rid of DeVries, that I choose another McDermott tree branch, regardless of the personality differences.
But maybe Clayman has another successful year or two, and finally, the timing is right and he could be the next guy if/when DeVries moves on??
Certainly a guy to watch. We'll lose out on the chance at Schertz, I'm sure. He'll get a high major job this offseason.
@ge-off yep and we nether get the coach or the player! Go IU fight fight suck.
a thread saying we really need DD, Drew Adams, Conor or Bailey would have been almost as dumb as actually getting them.
🤣 Yep. I would understand the sentiment if a M-M coach advanced in the NCAAT more than once and/or made an E8/F4 run ... but a win over Wisconsin doesn't do much for me. Hell, even IU beat the Badgers.Ahh - it is that time of year where we want every player that has a good game and every coach that pulls an upset should be the IU coach-
@gthomas Yep - even the players when they have a god game - we just tried the MM player experiment - doesn't work unless you are plugging one or 2 of those guys in around top talent.
