Ivan Renko was the best.

An extensive catalogue of all the Bob Knight controversies, would be an interesting book.

Just remembered kicking Pat Knight and headbutting Sherron Wilkerson.  And storming off stage on the TV show that one time.

I think my favorite was the donkey.

Smoothest stroke I've ever seen. Basically a European Jay Edwards.

If he did that Cheaney whip thing today, he'd be fired before the press conference ended.

Would it have been one more decade of mediocrity or would we have found another winner without the "curse" of his firing hanging over the program? It's always best to leave on a high note. Very hard to tell when that moment is in real time though.

I mean... it's not really a curse as much as it has been a series of very poor hiring decisions and one above average.

He pointed a starter’s pistol at Russ Brown of the Louisville C-J and fired it. That probably ends his coaching forever, as well.
