Perhaps my earlier skepticism about Ethan Taylor being a legitimate option for IU was premature. Taylor is a top 25 prospect and the number two center in the 2026 class. He plays for MoKan Elite (Rod Clark has connections) and says he will be visiting IU in the fall. Kansas is also getting a visit and that makes the Jayhawks an immediate contender (and likely favorite, if they really want him) but IU will be getting a visit so this recruitment becomes one to pay attention to.
That's what I'm talkin bout
Not to argue...but why would Kansas be a favorite? Are there connections there? I think with Rod Clark and Kenny Johnson now involved, IU will land their fair share of these elite level kids. Heck, we've beaten the big boys out a fair bit as it is the last 10-15 years.
@iunorth Questions (and even arguments) are definitely fine. Ethan Taylor is from Kansas. If Bill Self pushes, he rarely misses a kid that he really wants that is from that state.
@tjinman1987 makes sense
While I regarded God as a tyrant I thought my sin a trifle; But when I knew Him to be my Father, then I mourned that I could ever have kicked against Him. When I thought God was hard, I found it easy to sin; but when I found God so kind, so good, so overflowing with compassion, I smote upon my breast to think that I could ever have rebelled against One who loved me so, and sought my good.” C. H. Spurgeon
@tjinman1987 didn’t realize he was from Kansas. Yeah, that’ll be a tough one if they get involved.
