Couple of positive indicators I guess:
IF we don’t shit the bed vs Nebraska and N western, we are easily in the dance w a lesser talented team
IF Harris was available, we probably win 2 more games w the added post help
Im not sold yet on DD- but one COULD argue he got the most out of this team- on the other hand, he selected these guys.
next yr is the barometer- we will see soon when the portal season opens

It doesn't mean he is a shit coach though just because this year didn't gel for him. The blowouts against us by too many teams that are only solid, not great, was shitting the bed. Some of those the scores were closer than the game because we played desperately to the end while for a team with a big lead it's easy to take the foot off the gas.
Still IMO DeVries did have games when he showed some nice coaching chops. We seemed to do well on plays out of timeouts. I think he did well on adjustments many games. Which I know is contrary to the idea from some who know a lot more than me. I think his game plans were sound for most games. And, we did play hard to the end of a lot of the games we got stomped in... LOL That's something at least, indicating he doesn't lose his guys, they don't quit.
