Bleh...I wanted the Big 10 to represent well, but I cannot bring myself to root for the remaining 3.

I've hated UM since the Schembechler and Frieder days, same with Illinois and virtually every coach they've had from Henson on.

And Purdue? Fuuuuuug no. Iowa was the only program I was neutral enough to root for.

Agreed. Underwood is a really good coach. Not a fan of the Illini, but he’s been outstanding for them.

I’ll say it again… I don’t want our program to emulate Purdue, at all.  Painters model is great for racking up wins.  But they will always run in to a more talented and athletic team in the tournament.  I’d honestly rather hope for a coach to come along and combine our resources with solid coaching…and have a roster with NBA level guys, that can make a run in the tournament.  Than be Purdue or Wisconsin.  I’ll wait patiently, or not so patently, for it to happen.  But I’m confident it’ll happen again for IU before it happens for Purdue.

I guess I’ll root for Tennessee to win it all since that is where my aunt graduated from followed by Arizona. I strongly dislike Duke, Illinois, and UCONN. I am ambivalent about Michigan.

I view him as the James Franklin of B1G basketball coaches.  He's something like 8-16 against top 5 teams and well under .500 against top 10 teams.  Great recruiter and always has talent, but doesn't get it done against good competition.

They kept it a game for 35 minutes despite the size difference. They have some good young guys. I suspect they will be back in ths ncaa next year as well.

The last time a team won by as much as Michigan just did was 1989, and it was Michigan.

They're gonna end up winning it all with an IU guy that IU wouldn't hire.

I tuned in just after the shoving match and MI was up by 30. WTF happened with Tennessee?
