@tammany But it's not, that's the point. The past often dictates the future to some degree. Didn’t happen with Cig and football, but it's happened over and over with hoops.
yes, agreed. Here I am making a basketball post mentioning Cig, but it should be the last one anyone makes.
What happened in football was remarkable but it was a program that was easier to change. I don’t mean it was easy to change the program from a success standpoint. But, it was easy to distance IU football from its past. There wasn’t anything that people were trying to preserve. Cig is 💯 in charge, and the program wasn’t being influenced or controlled by anyone or anything.
IU basketball is like a giant ship somewhere out in an ocean slowly grinding its way into an ice field. The captain can only do so much. Even bringing in an entirely new crew isn’t going to change the direction of the ship.
Who else is controlling IUBB right now and what else is trying to be preserved?
CDD has control, he handpicked the whole staff and team. Bball should be easier to change the football -- smaller roster that costs comparatively less.
Unfortunately last night was a huge red flag.
words cannot adequately describe how little i care about anything that braylon mullins does.
woodson blowing a lay up on the recruitment was the nail in his coffin, just like it was with crean and romeo langford.
