The problem I have is not so much our poor results its what we pay to get them. If we were paying a salary like minnesota and finish like we do I woulds still be mad but at least except we are not paying top four big ten money to get it. We keep paying like a blue blood but cannot even make the tourney
Woody's buyout was $8.4M and was likely negotiated down. Even with that factored in we had the highest budget in the country and still missed the tournament. Yikes.

Woodson and DD were both top four paid coaches in the big ten yet we continue with excuses on why they cannot win. If we are going to be average to below average jus pay somebody less to get it.
Was Woodys buyout paid all at once or is it over a period of several years ?

I guess it depends on their definition of winning. I think many said by the second season he should be challenging for a sweet sixeteen. That should probably be the expectation but I think its going to be tuff imo. Maybe I will be wrong.
