I expected IU to compete for a NCAA spot, and they did that. Not much you can do if you can score five feet from the basket. That's all roster construction. There have been signs that he isn't the guy but there have also been signs that he can learn from his mistakes. Let's hope he does.
We shall see not only will he have to upgrade the roster he will need to upgrade his coaching. Most teams in the big ten will update their roster so just doing that will not cut it. The coaching has to improve and by alot.
A decently athletic 6-9 power forward would have averaged 5-6 dunks a game in this offense, playing Baileys role.
Shouldnt be tough to recruit a couple good bigs. They can watch film of our fumbles and envision what if they had been given that feed.

see that's just as big of a part to me ... and that won't be able to be judged until the season starts. Which is another wasted season
Reneau could have made a difference.A decently athletic 6-9 power forward would have averaged 5-6 dunks a game in this offense, playing Baileys role.

@arioznahoosier4554 If IU doesn't make the tournament next year and it's exactly like this year with no development, no program standard being set IU should cut bait. There was almost nothing that can be taken from this year outside of we need better players, that can be used to build upon.
We'll cut bait next year after Schertz is off the market and is building another P5 program into a monster.
