I have updated my roster page to show the addition of 6'11 German big man Clemens Sokolov.
IU is now at 11 scholarships and Sokolov, at least from the reporting, is just 18 and will be a freshman by eligibility.

Still need another big who can shoot and a true back up PG ?
I have added Justin Monden to the Scholarship chart...I'm not going to keep linking because it kind of clogs stuff up but you can click from the first page or above this.
@hoosiers94 I don't know who else they will add. It's been said that they will absolutely get to 13 scholarships, but who they they add and their impact overall in the last scholarship available remains an open question. It seems like they've spent just about all of the money they're going to spend. Monden seems like he'll be on scholarship player but also cost nothing NIL wise.
Devries needs to take a page from the Pete Bell's book while he was recruiting Neon Boudeaux to finish this roster.
@iureactionary Jamie, has the roster been completed? Read in a recent article that 6'10" Ben Winker joined the team as a walk-on.
This just became official today...Winker has been added under the walk on page.
IU still has one scholarship open (12 used) for another addition if they choose.
@iureactionary I see that foreign players have until 5:00 pm ET on June 13 to drop out of the NBA draft. Probably too expensive to add one of those foreign "dropouts."
@bigmike that is my take. i think they'll add another cheaper, developmental player or a guy who may just have one year left.
Winker is OK. Needed for practice. May even develop enough to absorb a few minutes. I cant find his HS stats. Not much at Cal State unless you extrapolate his rebounds per 4 minutes out to 40 minutes.
@openwheel Yes, he sure does look like a practice player. Checking the 247Sports composite ratings, Winker was ranked 365th in the nation as a high schooler, 65 as a center and 13 in the state of Missouri.
Not to get too deep into the weeds, but a certain morning podcaster who was likely kicked in the head by a donkey multiple times as a kid, claimed this morning Winker has played for 7 different schools?
Any further clarification on Winkers basketball background is appreciated.
Being rated the 65th Center coming out of HS and is now an upperclassman is not shabby for a walkon practice player imo.
Good to have a backup Big for Peru also.
@middawg As a walk on, he's a solid pickup. When there was a possibility of him being a scholarship addition... that, I didn't get, at all.
