I’ve gone my entire life being a football masochist for the Hoosiers.  Many years being so invested that I spend my time in a freaking game chat with the other masochists, hoping and scheming ways in which we could win 3 big ten games to get bowl eligible, only to end up with 3-5 wins each season.  WE ARE 13-0 and #1 IN THE COUNTRY.   

If this were 1997 (pre-BCS, pre-playoffs), IU would already be National Champions. Oh well, waiting an extra month and change for the hardware is no big deal.

Contrast this to that season opener against Iowa under Tom Allen. I'd rather lose 12 straight and looked coached, under Cig, than see something like that again.

Now I can wave a big foam finger and scream, We're Number One! Without it being a joke about all-time losses.
