When I was living outside Memphis, went to several Ole Miss games., the Grove tailgating is unique that's for sure, but I'd take an average Saturday gameday in the grass fields every time.
Most of the activities you speak of are not old enough to rate as 'traditions'. For 50 years we had three traditions: grass tailgates, the OOB, and obese Marching 100 members who are out-of-step...
No Bison? Like him or leave him, he was all over the field this past year. I don't think he's going anywhere. Skydiving bison was pretty big.
Flag pole? Great idea by Glass. I'm surprised it has not been copied, up to now......I see Purdue now has a 160' flagpole, 6' taller that ours. Flagpole envy?
Traveling fans? I've always thought we'd hold our own if we ever got good. I remember the Peach Bowl years ago v. Tennessee. We had maybe 15000 fans there to watch a good not great team in a probable loss situation. So there always was some untapped potential there. The NC is so surreal and the journey so unique it's hard to say how much of the improvement would survive Cig's departure.
Indiana our Indiana....not a great fight song to sing, by any measure. Like the intro, the middle part (2nd strain) and the "IU" at the end tho. Still sounds better in basketball, played at a faster pace.
The other music is just all noise to me. I wish we could do without any of it, and just watch football and let the band play. I know, not possible.
Towels.....nice idea at the time, but will get old very soon. Retire it at the end of this year.
I did forget one budding tradition that got cancelled.....the 1st down march. That had some umf to it. Aldo like(d) the 'Jaws" theme on 3rd down. Are they still doing that? I know it went out with Wilson's quick O, but then resurfaced some......

@mushroomgod first down march still very much a thing.
The towels aren’t going anywhere. Like the Cowbells at Mississippi State or the Pom poms at bama
I wonder about the towels as well. Pom poms are much easier to wave than towels are. Then they also have to keep finding sponsors to make 50,000 towels 6 or 7 times a year. Are they still doing the terrible towels in Pittsburgh?

You sign one sponsor for the whole season (Simtra) and, potentially, a multi-year agreement. Not like you're chasing a new sponsor every week (at this point).
