It's weird because I wasn’t nervous at all yesterday. I expected us to play really well.

I was good after the very first defensive series. That told me we weren't overmatched, and that all we had to do was play our game.
I was good going in. Felt great starting at about 3pm.
I could see early we were not overmatched. Felt good.
But that just made my nerves go way higher because all of a sudden then my mind was in - we must win this! - mode. So I stayed wired until we hit the FG to go up 10. Football is a funny game and I always feel a team is one bomb and one punch-out fumble at the goal line, from a 14 point swing.
Funny that I was not much more nervous after the pick 6 and it was tied. I felt bummed, but also that the offense and defense would just treat it as a challenge. Boy did they.
This is a mature team and they play like it on both sides of the ball.
