Crappy estimate from me.  Per the H-T today, the student section is ~11K.

@tammany all good,actually I saw this morning.I think it said there are about 9k left for the opener.Hoping for a big walk up crowd,weather is looking good so far.

Makes me really happy. Started as a freshman in 2014 and worked hard on the Student Athletic Board to work on the ways coaches and the department engaged with students. Sat through some CLUNKERS and never missed a snap at the rock in my college days. So happy to see at least some of the groundwork pay off in parts of the Allen era too and obviously now selling out two years in a row
