Cig doesn't strike me as a cheater, so he wouldn't fit in at Michigan.
If the UM AD was covering for this all season, what NCAA sanctions might they face? Why would Cig want to leave what he's got here and go clean up that dumpster fire? Stay here, pick up a few of their best guys as they jump into the portal. What player would not want to leave that mess and come to a program that just wins?
Cignetti has things rolling where he is. Recruiting is picking up, he and his staff are compensated well, and the team is winning at a high level. No reason to give all that up to put out a dumpster fire.
would?
wood?
Purdue grad???????????????????????????

@jackskip23 How many times does Curt Cignetti and his people have to say no, before it's not unbelievable he stays at IU. Why would he go up to Michigan? What can he accomplish there that he hasn't or doesn't have the opportunity to at IU.
Like I said when people said he was going to Penn State, the ONLY opportunity Michigan presents that IU doesn't, it the opportunity to get fired.
Michigan Cheats! The admin condones/looks the other way. Why do you think they waited until Moore could not beat Ohio State to fire him?

Apparently the investigation began in October. Some of the details were hard to prove, at the time. I'm guessing the staffer denied it?
Then something happened recently with (believe it or not) a Door Dash delivery driver talking, the rumor mill says. Then enough wealthy alumni were clued in such that donations / NIL money was threatened.

Pretty. And I suspect she's got a very nice body too.
However, with most Purdue grads you need to be very careful only judging by the neck up pics.

or michigan st, or penn state, or Kentucky, or any SEC school, etc, etc
I don't understand Cig to Michigan, or Cig to Alabama, talk.
IMO his ideal 'other' job would have been Penn State. And that job was the main one open when he says he discussed possibilities, and I wouldn't have any doubt that was why... "Honey, do you want to live in your home state, near family, or are we happy here?"
I wouldn't expect any less, otherwise he would be BS-ing saying this was their place. And he wouldn't have signed a new deal, he had to have no doubt that Penn State would go huge also, if he said yes to them.
He didn't bail for Penn State. So we're good.

agree
speculating on cig bolting is ridiculous
@olympian97 I think he’s going to be in protective custody, or prison for a long time. I’ve just spent an hour on the Michigan board. Seems their AD will be getting fired tomorrow. Everyone, including players, has known about this for months and the AD has tried to protect him

Back in my day you could rely on Purdue coeds being cows.
These days, up is down and down is up. Hence the AP rankings!

Having an affair with a staffer is not an NCAA violation. Why would they face sanctions?
@shooter Yeah, the Hot Girl Transfer Portal has turned things upside-down.
