A 16-0 football title and athletic dept revenue is way up. That easily overshadows bball still not being fixed.
Great job Scott!
Seems impossible, given that iugradman and the rest of his jagoff pretend fan group has been telling us that Dolson sucks for the last six years.

Football is in excellent shape but almost everything else is mediocre and declining. Thankfully for Scott, football drives everything in college sports.
Good job Scott!
Off topic - I see Coogan in the picture, and remember all the comments from Notre Dame fans wishing him well, since he only transferred because he wasnt going to be a starter. Was going to lose his spot to all their talent. And I wonder if starting center for the National Championship team was enough salve for being demoted to second string. Because that can be rough.
My guess [& he said as much) is that Pat Coogan is tickled pink for the way it worked out
Yeah, I am sure also. Just joking, because seeing him in the picture reminded me of the cope from ND fans when he left. Probably they believed it. But their 'backup' anchored the national champions offense line thru an undefeated season.. LOL
The administration has been filled with morons who couldn’t hire a good coach if their lives depended on it and nickel and dimed the program for years. That is why it sucks.
There has been unfathomable incompetence at this university for decades.
Nailed it.

I was referring to men’s basketball. And I am100% right.

Right, because those same geniuses that win awards and turned the losingest program in all of college football into national champions are simultaneously complete morons.
You know it's the same "morons" making both decisions, right?

When they succeed they're lucky.
When they fail they're morons.
@unclemark I was not a huge fan of the hire when they first announced it because I thought IU Athletics had a problem with staying within the family or not having outside ideas. However, Scott's biggest asset, fundraising and the NIL side of things, became a big asset. He set IUFB up for the success they are having with NIL, collectives and donors.
Do I think IU Athletics walks on water? No, there are so many things that could be improved all over the place. However, they are not morons. They'll figure out basketball. However, they will have to break from tradition there. People will disagree with me, but distancing themselves from Knight is a must. Too many people are holding on to what he was (a flawed legend) and not allowing the program to enter the 21st century. Times have changed and people will have to be OK with NIL, updating things that have been staples of the past etc. Of course winning cures all, but things need to change in some places and that's OK.

All that was Glass' strong suits too, and Dolson was his protege.
For years, gradman has blamed every loss in every sport on Glass, and he's making the same noise re: Dolson. He's lucky with Cig, a moron with CDD.
@unclemark Glass was a showman. He did some really good things and some things that made you shake your head. A lot of people will look at how he handled Wilson and the Allen situation and say it was a total failure.
