I think it could be close first half but IU pulls away in the second half.
Just listening to the PSU podcasts, hearing reports of low energy practices, several players will illness, etc. it feels like this team may already be beaten mentally. Weather shouldn’t be a factor so I’m thinking 38-10 as the floor and won’t be surprised if it’s a 55-13 game.
Too bad Franklin's not still there. Rumor has it he has a bit of trouble beating Top 10 teams.

I don't like this game. They are a team of pretty highly rated recruits. Many were on their playoff team last year. It's at their place and IU has never won there. They will be desperate for a win. So many reasons to be nervous about this one. Maybe it's my PTSD as a life long 40 IU football fan but this one feels bad.

Indiana’s defense hasn’t allowed more than 14 points in a game this season. I don’t understand the predictions that have Penn State scoring over 20, given that team’s offensive struggles.

@zeke4ahs Exactly. They still have a ton of talent, and since they have absolutely no reason to play the rest of the season, this will be their super bowl. I hope our guys hit them in the mouth early. If we let them hang around, anything can happen.

I hear you, but did you watch the OSU-PSU game? I mean you watch OSU and go Sayin, shit...Smith, shit, Tate, damn, Klare, son of a B, Reece, Downs, Styles.........Then you look at PSU, and see Allen.....who else you really afraid of? They lost their QB who could get going and hurt you, and their All-Everything DE. Their WRs aren't very impressive.....Don't know.....I was scared before the Illinois game, the Iowa game, the Oregon game, even the UCLA game but I just feel pretty good about this one for some reason.
No, haven't watched them much since I watched the Oregon game. Watched a lot of UCLA but just highlights of their other recent games. I'm just going by talent and Cig saying their running backs are great. So mine is a wild guess thinking they really show up and play tough, but we are ready too. I expect a good game from Mendoza. Only way they can get 20 or more is with great running for longer drives. And if Grunkemeyer also really plays well. Not likely to do both against us, but they might.
I too am afraid of this game. A lot of talent and pride still present on the other side.
