Crossing my fingers that Shanahan is spending this off week dreaming up more 4 and 5 wide formations and route trees to practice that keep Becker on the field and put opposing secondaries in conflict.  

Especially if these concepts potentially slow down opposing pass rushes and lessen the number of all out blitzes the oline faces by making them declare before the snap their intentions.  

Added benefit would be more rushing and scrambling lanes for Mendoza.   

To take full advantage though, we gotta be ready, willing, and able to take deep home run shots on some fly routes.  

100% wouldn't show any of these 4 or 5 wide formations against Purdue.
