5) INDIANA-Cignetti's INDIANA program emerged out of nowhere last season. His 2 coordinators are no exception. Now with a year of dominance at the Big Ten level under their belts, expect Shanahan & Haines to both become hot names on the head coaching circuit. The Hoosiers finishing with 9 or 10 wins in 2025 would accomplish that.

I'm pumped....just can't figure our how Iowa is ahead of us with their lousey offense. If their defense can hold you under 10 or 12 points there is a 75% chance their offense can score enough points to win the game.

Ferentz has been decent for 25 years, which is an argument for and against him. The B1G West was kind to Iowa. Their DC is very good and it's still TBD on their new OC.
I don't know how to rank them vs. us. I prefer our guys. We'll find out how we stack up in week five.
Brian Ferentz being gone is worth at least 8 spots.

Yes on your point on the west being kind to Iowa. (And that understatement is being kind.)
Tom Allen would've coached in b1g title games if he had coached in the west.
