Get right game for the offense.

Until I see a Hoover led team score well on a good defense... I'll continue to be skeptical they'll be able to.
Northwestern game vibes... but maybe without them pushing us quite as much, as I don't think their QB is quite the threat that Chiles was.
IU 24 -10
Tough call without knowing more about Hoover's condition.

Lindsey is not a dual-threat QB.
I always pick around 30-10,13 or 35-14ish . I even tried that for Michigan because I thought we'd solve some offensive issues and run the ball, and that their dee including DBs was overrated by their competition. Oops.
So this time I am doing something a little different. OK, guess not.
Indiana 34 - 11 Minnesota
We could lose. But if Hoover's healthy enough, he should see some open guys. And the run game should be OK.
@big-ryan Yep... I know. He's markedly better than Michigan's QB is/was, probably easily 7 points better. But the game is in Bloomington. So 10 versus 6. He's not as good a QB, and doesn't have the same level of weapons as Sayin did for OSU. But if he stays healthy all game, he'll get an extra possession or two, and if Hoover is less healthy, maybe better field position than Sayin got. So 10 points instead of 19 points. He isn't nearly as good, or as much of a threat as Colandrea was, probably 7-10 points less so. But the game is in Bloomington, not Minneapolis, so 10 instead of 17. And similarly to Colandrea, he's not nearly as good, and his team doesn't run it as well, as NW and Chiles. So 10 points instead of 23 points.
Offensively... less thought going in to that side. Just don't have a lot of confidence in Hoover putting up much more points than that, against another really good B10 defense. He was seemingly fully healthy against NW though, and they scored 29... so 24 might be generous towards IU. And I'm not sure Michigan's defense is 18 points allowed against us better than Minny's will be... so maybe generous there as well. But I think IU figures out how to run the ball a little better, and gets an extra touchdown or two because of that, versus what have been FG attempts.
@iunorth 24-10 (your prediction) seems reasonable. I'm going with a higher point total for IU on little more than a hunch.
They won't be able to run against us so Lindsey's going to put on an air show. My crystal ball tells me our scoring will include a pick-6.
IU 35-Minn 10.
This is the game Josh and the boys start to get the offense cracking to set up another year we will all remember for a long while.

Big Win going into the bye, style points for days.
