Though he's only been in Bloomington for 6 1/2 months, INDIANA's center Pat Coogan has taken over a leadership role this offseason. 3 1/2 hrs. away from So. Bend, (who played for ND last season) the Hoosiers' senior center feels he's right where he belongs.
"I can't say I imagined my career to go this way, but I'm glad it did, because I'm super glad to be here," Coogan said. "All the ups & downs & all the turmoil, the good days, the wins, the losses--I really believe everything has led me to here & I'm super grateful for that.
"Coogan's infusion of leadership, Cignetti said, "is critical to going the distance in the season, as it's a long title race."
No doubt, Pat Coogan is key to the OL. A natural leader, who's garnered the respect of his fellow OL.
