@olympian97 Without emotions, or fear of the worst, or illogical belief that only the best will happen... IU is a better football team than Oregon. Basically every chance they've had, they've proven that, this year. Beating a team twice in the same season isn't easy. But as you pointed out, neither is winning a CFP game with the bye, evidently. Neither is beating a team filled with 4 and 5 stars. Neither is closing out teams like Iowa and PSU, in their home stadiums. Neither is beating what everyone thought was a historically good OSU team, in Indy. I'm not sure why IU would stop making the very difficult things, look easier than they should be, tonight. But I'd put more money on them doing it, than not. Its who they are, and what they do.
I think I will have to work tomorrow half day. I usually work until 4:30 or 5, 2 hours from now, and I think I can get my stuff done by then. But my mind is in game mode and just thinks that working right now is silly compared to day dreaming about the big game.
So be it!
I think Saturday morning counts as Friday if my customers don't read my stuff until Monday anyway, which will be most of them. That's my story and I am sticking with it.
I am bolstered by the fact that our D overwhelmed them in the first meeting, has only become more dominant despite losing Daley, and that is wasn't merely out-scheming them with exotic looks and stunts. It was our guys lining up and whoopin' their guys, then doing it again, then again... Seems like a hard issue to fix. Maybe they will go with more moving pockets, or more screens and quick-outs. We get off blocks and tackle well enough that it would seem to be hard for them to live off the short stuff.

Oregon's RB1 is not only questionable, but apparently he has the flu and is unlikely to play now.
They are down to their RB3, a walkon, a converted LB, and a converted safety (both converted this week).
Goodluck running on Fisher & Co.
My stomach is in knots.
After tailgating in a crappy lot that looks alot like ground zero, buncha Hoosier fans here! Met an IU kicker that played in the early 90s, but he was kind of a junky lookn guy. I didnt ask his name but, he was drunk enough to where he looked like he was full of poop! Gettn pumped for the game now! Gonna walk around to checkOut the sites!
@m9heckman I've been wearing IU apparel all week. So any jinx action will be negated by my loyalty. Go IU!
While I regarded God as a tyrant I thought my sin a trifle; But when I knew Him to be my Father, then I mourned that I could ever have kicked against Him. When I thought God was hard, I found it easy to sin; but when I found God so kind, so good, so overflowing with compassion, I smote upon my breast to think that I could ever have rebelled against One who loved me so, and sought my good.” C. H. Spurgeon

OK, I buckled down for a short while and got my work done. No need to head to the office in the morning so I have a clear head. No worries, just football!
OT - Chambliss denied a 6th year. Is the NCAA finally showing a smidge of backbone?
Nah, probably just a clerical error.
They rolled a die and a 5 came up.
Their chart said if it was a 1 or 2 they were granting the 6th year, YES.
If 3,4, 5, then NO.
If a 6, declared INELIGIBLE, and this years games are all retroactively forfeit.
They had a plan, and followed it.
