I definitely wanted to play Oklahoma over Alabama.  Next to OSU, I actually think Alabama is the hardest team to beat because they have the most talent in the country.

@paterade looked like a peaks and valleys thing to me. Bama does have more talent, but I thought they looked much worse and more beatable for so much of that game. Even when they got going in the 2nd half, they still looked sloppy AF. Agree with whoever said if we can get the run game going, we'll win, unless we just have turnovers/errors like OU did and hand them 10+ pts. But, we've seen it be a struggle for IU when we go up against the super talented teams like OSU and PSU.

If anything should strike the fear of God into other teams, it's that Cignetti has done this with these less heralded guys, but he's certainly not ignored HS recruiting and I've heard him say that's a programs foundation. If, he does start to get a roster full of 4 and 5* guys and can coach them up and then plug holes with portal guys.... That would scare the crap out of me if I was Ryan Day.

Turnovers will kill the best teams, so we obviously have to be on the plus side of them. We’re also going to have to redistribute snaps on the D line, but that seems very manageable. If we run the ball with success, we win.

@kkott Oklahoma in the second half was exhausted and couldn't exute party due to Alabama's size and depth on the Defensive end. Oklahoma truly botched so many things in the 2nd quarter giving Alabama all the momentum going into halftime. They needed the cushion because of the depth of Bama. I look at Oklahoma's roster on paper and they look a heck of a lot like ours, as far as talent goes. If we can build a good size lead going into the half I think we can win. If it's a dog fight all game I'm not sure if we can handle the battle of attrition. The injuries to Wyatt and Daley also worry me.  They wreaked havoc against the other team and if we don't get pressure on Simpson, his WRs will have all day to improvise and get open.  Basically, I hate this matchup.

And yes, I know the talking heads and opposing fan bases have been saying this shit to us all year.   I am not even listening to any of that, just using my own two eyes.  WE CAN ABSOLUTELY BEAT THEM.  I'm just looking at where Alabama could take advantage of us.  Consider it a thought experiment lol.
