@thehoosierhuddle was a very fun game to watch knowing either of them would face us. I thought OU's vaunted D would carry the day against AL's weak offense...I voted OU in the poll. Bring on Bama, let's see what we're "REALLY" made of!
Both teams showed flashes, but neither had dominating performances that made me nervous to face them. That said, OU outgained Bama on the ground & through the air, yet lost the game.
Bama is one dimensional, with a weak run game. I expect Haines to dial up more chaos to neutralize Bama’s offense. If IU is able to run well enough against the Tide - and I think they will - I think we can beat them handily, let alone cover the opening spread (-6).
Is everyone ready for Finebaum's bullshit the next 10 days? I'm sure we'll hear how Bama would have gone undefeated in the B1G, and IU would have finished, like, 13th in the SEC.

Well, I do not listen to that guy or his crap so I won’t hear any of it nor do I care. We’ll see them in Pasadena.
I don’t get why people get worked up over Finebaum. He’s not a serious analyst. He plays a character to get reactions and views and make money. And so many people get caught up in his trap of caring about what he says.
It’s easy to ignore him. There is plenty of good CFB media out there.
I don’t think Alabama is a more talented and physical team than Oregon and Ohio State so IU shouldn’t be overwhelmed physically.
Overwhelmed, no, but they’re big and fast and full of skill all over the field. It will be a tough test.
Offensively, we have to be able to run the ball. We aren’t likely to put 250 yards on them, but the run game will be emphasized and we’ll stick with it, even if they have some success in stopping us. That’s not a team we want to be in second or third and long, because they’ll bring pressure.
Defensively, we need to pressure the QB early and often. If we can get that with 4 or 5, we win on D. If it takes more than that very often, that’s a problem.
Bama is very beatable but they’re good and it will require an OSU / Oregon performance, which is what anyone would expect at this juncture.

Wommack's defense was fun to watch, especially late when AL was going for the kill.
Glad it’s Bama. Outside of getting a home game against a G5 team all the games are going to be tough. Bama gives a shot to make a statement and shut up a fan base that has been the most vocal.
@big-ryan I also have a Alabama fan in the family, but I am not concerned about him because he is a bandwagon fan who only started yelling roll tide after his daughter moved to Alabama. I have carried the IU football flag through the desert for 7 decades, and I'll be damned if I will let a bandwagoner stand me up.
@jackskip23 Maybe, and maybe I have on Crimson colored glasses, or maybe I'm just spoiled from watching a Cignetti coached team, but I thought that was pretty atrocious football. Tons of missed tackles, dropped passes, stupid penalties, crappy special teams and poor clock management. Bama came back and won comfortably and I thought they improved from an F first half grade to a solid C in the second half. They certainly have the athletes to beat us, but we'll have to play our worst game of the year and they'll have to play way better than they did last night. I bought Peach Bowl tix this morning.
@kkott Ryan Williams might be the most overrated player in college football. In fact, he might want to see the doctor for his recurring bout of stonehanditis.

They spotted OU 17 points in Norman and then ran them off the field. Sloppy or not, they were a convincing winner in a tough environment. We can definitely beat them, but we’ll likely have to play as well as we’ve played all year to get the W. So will they if they want to beat us.
