IU 31 - Ore. 17
IU rushing and aerial precision to much for the feathers.
@tammany The bettors picking IU is not getting enough appreciation. The lines do not move because of public money - they move on sharp bets. There is a misconception that books try to "balance the wagers on each side of the line" - no they dont. $1,000,000 from average joes has less impact on a line swing than $50k from a guy books respect.
Advanced analytics have this game more in the ~53/47 range (in favor of Oregon).
Beyond the math, I think this team will find a way to will its way to victory. How many guys on our roster chose to come back in pursuit of a championship over the draft? How many guys turned down big NIL pay checks for less money? Cig was saying we had players getting $1.5m offers that they scoffed at.
We are going to win this game
I said on the podcast
Oregon 38
Indiana 27
Thank you for reading Hoosier Huddle
I said on my toilet
Indiana 31
Oregon 24
31-24 Bisons
Oregon 31
IU 20
We score first and the game is tied at halftime. By the end of the 3rd quarter they wear us down with their depth and win going away. Not many teams in college football have the luxury of depth like Oregon does. And that’s a big deal.
Agreed. There have now been 3 games in the Cig era that I thought we had zero shot at winning. This is one of them.
My head tells me beating Oregon, in Autzen, isn't likely. I do think we're every bit as good as they are, at every aspect of the game. But they're a top 5 team, playing in one of the more hostile home environments in the country. I think we play better than we have in the first few challenges like this under Cig. But Autzen is the difference.
Oregon 30, IU 22.
Outside a win, my biggest hope is that we figure some things out on how to handle these types of environments. If we do, I think we can go in to PSU and win, maybe handily.
You know at some point in order to become a "big boy" of college football we have to win a game we weren't supposed to. Would love it if this were the one. Cig has it in him .... unlike Brian Kelly

yep. That's why it would be all the sweeter if we did.
I didn't predict a win but it would be nice
There isn’t a team in the country that would be favored playing Oregon at Oregon, yet the narrative will be that IU is a pretender if they lose.
We'll have to make our own narrative. Heck with the narrative. We'll be 5-1 worst case. Pretty damn good.
Looking forward to watching us play.
We will have to really put everything together to have a good chance. No turnovers. One or two of theirs
