@openwheel no, it seems like most are opting to test at Pro Day.
Seems if you are ready to jump that well you are ready to run! But yeah, makes sense.
Whats nice is it should attract an even better crowd of scouts with our top guys still having stuff to show, such as running and Mendoza throwing. Thats great for guys not at the combine. Some scouts opinions carry more weight than others.
Nowakowski numbers look pretty good. Faster than average TE 40 by almost a tenth at 4.68, although that includes bigger blocking types too, but faster by a hair than the avg LB 40. Some other decent numbers. Good job.
One of the main reasons guys prefer their own pro day is it gives underclassmen great exposure too.
@hoosieralum07 I haven’t heard. But I doubt it. If we hear otherwise we will let you know
Strong combine for our guys. Its noticeable about how all of our guys came in around the measurements the school listed... We have to be one of the only schools that doesnt fib the players sizes.
Glad to see Cooper firmly put himself in the round 1 discussion. I think we have good chances of having 2 first round picks, with a ceiling of 3 - depends on how teams are grading Ponds and Cooper.
@hoosierdaddy Fibbing on rosters is a right of passage in football haha. But, yes a great showing for IUFB even if they didn't do all of the testing. Those that did performed well and all of them represented IU well in media sessions as well.

This is why it cracks me up that Josh Hoosier shrank 2 inches from his flight from TCU to Btown. I dont know why we dont lie about it when everyone else does, but its nice to see people get "shocked" at the combine as a result of it. Cig could care less
And agreed. They all spoke very well. Natty aside, easy group of guys to root for.
@hoosierdaddy that was fixed. Someone put in the height wrong.
@hoosieralum07 Yeah, I'd doubt it. Pretty sure I've never seen it before, but that was before we became the new (no longer emerging) superpower in college football.

@hoosierdaddy The interviews were by far my favorite part of the combine. Our guys are exceptional young men. I've never actually seen a football team (at any level) with so many outstanding leaders with strong faith and genuine love for each other. We may never see another collection of men like these guys.
