His stats this past season at Troy:
2025 (Junior): Troy’s kickoff specialist … Also attempted two field goals, made a 53-yard attempt at Texas State and missed a 51-yard kick at Clemson … Named the Sun Belt Special Teams Player of the Week following Troy’s win at Texas State, also executed an onside kick in the game … Averaged 60.2 yards per kickoff; had 34 touchbacks on 64 attempts, with a 38.9 yards per kick net
In regard to Alberto's decision as to stay or go:
I think if he's smart he stays, primarily because I question Hoovers durability throughout a 16 game season (since we're headed to both the BT Championship and National Championship Games again next season😉)...
Hoover is listed at 6'2" 200lbs which 20-25 point ND's of muscle lighter than Fernando... We all saw the type of shots he's taken and gotten back up from that would've knocked your average (or even above average) athlete out of the game it occurred in and probably the one too...
I'm thinking we're gonna need the backup QB next Fall to come in and play in critical situations on multiple occasions throughout next season... If Alberto is smart he'll keep himself in the position to be That Guy when "Next Man Up" is needed...
Then..., heading into the "27" season if he isn't slated as the probable starter That would be the time to make the decision to stay or leave, but not now...
Just my 2 cents Alberto but Id take it to heart if I were you... I'd hate to have you watching from someplace like UMASS while the next QB moved into your self-vacated position ended up playing close to half the season and multiple key snaps during critical points in the game...
Apologies to all for the typos above... The edit function doesn't work for me nor does several other things like just clicking on REPLY or even leaving a LIKE emoji (from this site)...
It's most likely an issue at my end...
Ha...! That should have been: pounds...
An ND guy probably wrote the code... 😖

This was announced last night, just got to the write up this morning.
Did I read his bio correct that only 50% of his K/O's were TB's?

Give him some time with Derek Owings.
Maybe he's a backup to Quinn Warren?
Franke and his 90% TB rate is going to be missed.
