@boogie Smith coming back, and then signing Brunner... and we're setup for another monster year. Probably already are...but solidifying the OLine like that, raises the floor dramatically.
@tammany perhaps we can do that in a separate thread after the reveling over IU's 1st National Championship and portal transfer news dies down. I admit, I am not used to still chatting about games to be played and key matchups to consider in January, lol, so I should resist the urge to derail threads about actual games and actual players. 🙂
@mushroomgod am I supposed to read into that suspenseful choice in punctuation?….…because I am 😂

No. Just haven't seen anything yet about him here or on two other sites I check.
Nothing on Joe Brunner
They'll take Indiana in football, and Purdue in basketball.Hopefully Purdue gets left out of any super conference. I’d love to see them wither on the vine.
An enjoyable part of the 'super league' for me is going to be watching ESPN (and Fox) lose their ass, when it declines in popularity.
Maybe they can pawn the risk off onto other private equity, and they'll lose their ass. But I hope it's ESPN.

I agree, it's likely to be a disaster because we know they don't understand how to continue to max capitalize the money coming in, while building a really good product.
That being said, there is an opportunity to expand the super power league, break into four or five 12 team new regional conferences under the super power league umbrella.....then have those regional conferences just play their own conference schedules and build out a standard playoff from that. Its almost like going back to what it was to a degree, without the NCAA clown show running it and without having non-P4 cupcake games. There is a way to make it work, while maintaining a lot of revenue among the top tier colleges, but they do need to expand to 48-60 teams to make it work. That means adding some colleges that aren't as profitable as the current B1G or SEC mean value. So far, they have been hesitant to go that direction.
Indiana receives a commitment from PSU DB, AJ Harris!
@tammany after next week, but feel free to start now if you want.
