The NCAA needs to be abolished. Their HQ is in Indiana, they want to play with fire we should hit them with racketeering charges at the local level - vacating wins and records would have a tangible financial hit on the school.
Completely gutless organization. Michigan had actual criminals (multiple coaches arrested) and cheated on the field for years and all they did was hit coaches who had zero intention of coaching at the college level again with show causes. No vacated wins, no vacated records. Going after Indiana for something almost every school has done would be asinine

Remember when he was going to court every week or so at the beginning of the year to get to be able to have an extra year of eligibility? Well, that year is the year we just finished. The NCAA said Lou wasn't eligible, Lou sued the NCAA, a judge looked at Lou's case, and in September gave him an injunction stating he was eligible for the 2025 season. Lou got an injunction because the judge thought Lou had a high likelihood of success with his case and if he wasn't eligible this season he would be irreparably harmed, etc.
But, Lou hasn't actually had his trial, which if it's going to happen, would happen sometime after the season. The NCAA is saying if they win the trial, they can vacate wins, stats, etc.
This of course goes against the judge's injunction saying he was eligible. It's all pretty dumb, but it's the NCAA, so...
@tammany The NCAA saying he wasn't eligible is nonsense because they gave a blanket waiver to former JUCO players for last season. He played a total of 7 years in college, 4 years of eligibility + redshirt + COVID waiver + JUCO waiver = 7 years
This is the NCAA picking on Indiana for no reason. Threatening to vacate wins because they pooped their own bed on eligibility clarity is ridiculous
@tammany The Judge dismissed the case in Janurary, but the NCAA is appealing that decision, should they win the appeal it'll go to trial. Dates to be determined

So On3 publishes this nonsense and now Trump is going on the Pate show after golfing with Saban and Urban last week. Are we finally going to get some action from the government? The NCAA is clearly incapable of solving this.
