Its been a long, arduous and painful ride but, we've arrived gents. I've sincerely appreciated every speculation, nonsensical bickering match, piss poor predictions, and lack of belief that then became full on belief in this team....regardless, it's all came from the same infatuation for this program. I've thoroughly enjoyed this journey alongside all of you. ...well most of you. ,;) But really....Cheers to those before us and let's all make the most of this moment because we never know what the future holds.
As for the convicts in South Florida, we may not all be catholic in Indiana but we certainly know how to lay the law. Let's go get us that title!!!!!
I don’t think IU is going to coast through these playoffs with three straight blowouts. There has to be some adversity along the way.

@iugradman I respectfully disagree. I fully expect another blowout. IU football is a rocket ship. Our guys are disciplined, focused and hungry. They know they're knocking on the door of history and they're not going to let the opportunity slip away. If they finish this season with a win in Miami, they'll forever be known as one of the greatest teams in the history of college football.

@kelly_32 that dude will cost them a huge penalty at some point. He will get in the way of a ref, fall onto the field, trip over a camera man, spit on a fan etc…the belt to ass schtick is clown like. Very cringe.

You’re unlikely aware of the origin of the “convicts” label which, at the time, was dripping with racist overtones. Using then or now is in incredibly poor taste.
I haven't taken a deep dive into Miami just yet so I won't give my breakdown right now, but off the bat IU has two advantages...Cig will coach circles around Cristobol and Fernando will be the best QB on the field. Don't forget Xavier Lucas (starting DB) will be out for the first half due to targeting against Ole Miss.

That said, going on opposing message boards to cry about it (Hurtful? Message board throw away posts? Hurtful? ) is dumb too. Hopefully there will be some good interactions and information. I dont mind hearing the state of their fans.

Our formula doesn’t change: Run the ball. Use the intermediate passing game to keep the field spread to the boundaries. Take deep shots when the run game makes UM come up in run support. Stop the run. Make Beck throw in 2nd and 3rd and long scenarios. Don’t let him set his feet. Win Special Teams. Take care of the ball. Do those things ane we’re National Champs.
