Its been a long, arduous and painful ride but, we've arrived gents. I've sincerely appreciated every speculation, nonsensical bickering match, piss poor predictions, and lack of belief that then became full on belief in this team....regardless, it's all came from the same infatuation for this program. I've thoroughly enjoyed this journey alongside all of you. ...well most of you. ,;) But really....Cheers to those before us and let's all make the most of this moment because we never know what the future holds.
As for the convicts in South Florida, we may not all be catholic in Indiana but we certainly know how to lay the law. Let's go get us that title!!!!!
Everyone is crowning IU as the national champions without the game ever being played. That is rat poison and I am sure Cignetti will keep the team level headed. The stadium environment will be much less hospitable than the last two IU played in.
It sounds insane at this point, but I’m still very leery about this matchup. I assume that Miami is gonna try to just out-physical /out-tough us in a way that will be reminiscent of Iowa. Hope we come out with a better offensive game plan than we did against the Hawkeyes and don’t let them drag us into a dick-measuring contest. Have to trust that Cig will have them ready for the challenge…

Agreed, and they’re playing at a very high level. Miami will have their hands full and I think we’ll win, but they’re very capable of beating us. As we saw last night, turnovers are killers, and we can’t afford to give the ball away like UO did last night.
@iugradman you watch any U games this year? They didn’t sell many tickets or travel all year. I seriously doubt either team gets a fan advantage of any kind. Miami has a small fanbase considering. I was shocked how empty a lot of their games were.

I don’t think IU is going to coast through these playoffs with three straight blowouts. There has to be some adversity along the way.
