This could be in several threads. But a small moment in the game that stayed in my head that had nothing to do with the score.
Mendoza gets rocked on the first play, looks like it could be about anything, maybe major like a broken collarbone or concussion.
Alberto comes in, and as they huddle up and hes about to give the play, Carter Smith reaches in over everyone and gives him a slap on top of the helmet. Like a - we got you, you got this - gesture.
I thought - Oh wow, we are still going to win this...
Now I didnt know we would win, but I wasnt worried anymore. Felt good Fernando came back in though!

The one play of the game for me was the 3rd and 8 deep shot down the sideline to Charlie Becker. As soon as that occurred, it felt like the dagger for OSU. That’s when it hit me that this was likely going to end up a win.
And on that drive, they showed some shots of the OSU secondary guys and the look in their eyes after that play was “oh shit.”
Of all the plays, that one sticks out. I was at home watching. I hollered so loud on that one. Beautiful play call, got blocking, route, throw, catch. Huge moment.
For me it was the int. It felt like Rocky vs Apollo Creed when Rocky finally cuts him.
The kick they missed.
@openwheel When OSU missed the kick. It took a few moments for everyone to realize what just happened.
I had a horrible angle on it. Took me awhile. I was so nervous I was almost sick during much of the game. It wasn’t until the missed kick that I thought, Holy shit, we’re actually going to win this game!
When the clock struck 00:00.
The TD to Sarratt. Up until that happened, I felt like we were just hanging on. Not that we didn’t belong, but just thought going in OSU was gonna be too much. Happy to be wrong.
On the QB sneak, I thought they made it easily. But I saw Ponds gesticulating wildly about it, and I thought, "That's weird, he's never been one of those guys that bullshits and pretends out there." As soon as they started the review I knew we stopped them because Ponds doesn't lie. Ponds always knows.
The first time we put Sayin on his ass.
@kelly_32 would need to be more specific. He spent half their snaps on the turf
With 2:48 left in the game, OSU turned the ball over on a missed FG! Eat the clock, baby.

Somebody said, "never know, maybe we'll get lucky and they find something." I couldn't believe it when they did, and also that they decided it was clear.
Huge stop. Wow. It was big that we moved the ball out of there too.
That turf seemed slippery. Helping Sayin to slip and down his knee. We had some slips too, although I saw more from them, one of their RBs went down on a cut. Next year, when we play in the title game, we should consider different shoe soles.
