Seeing lots of changes about what lots people are getting. I have been Lot 12 the past 2 seasons but got booted to the David Baker Grass Lot, which looks like a postage stamp sized lot North of the Tennis Center. Curious anyone else get moved out of their lots. Saw some say they got moved to Parking Garages which would suck if you tailgate. Also on the parking Map I think I saw some new lots sprinkled around as well or maybe they were there last year and I just didn't notice.
Yea, some folks got jammed with parking garages and they aren't thrilled. Sometimes IU is dumb and bad with customer service.
They really should open up Woodlawn Field for tailgating.

Nah, IU has so much room they just don't use it quite right. Woodlawn Field is right there... it's perfect.
We'll be in Lot 12. IU's customer service stinks. I called the ticket office about an RV pass they had no idea what was or wasn't available and told me to call back August 10th

I liked Lot 12 but if I had to get bumped I guess the David Baker isn't too bad since its close to where we were, its just so small that I wonder really how many cars will get crammed in there and how much space we'll have to set up for tailgating. Not that we have a big spread but still its a bit removed from some of the action. I guess it could have been worse.
Today was also my day to buy single game day tickets if I wanted. I looked on line and several games are completely sold out and all the rest have few available so looks like we should get some good crowds for all home games.
We got moved to the Outdoor Pool Grass Lot. It is right next to our usual Lot 14 but I'm hoping to find someone who got 14 to trade or deal with so we can maintain our tailgate setup/location we've done the past 3 years with friends.
@tammany The fields and then parking people correctly in lots 10 and 11 would go a long way in creating more spots.

I just checked,I’m in the Park Avenue lot,same as last year.
If you're south of 17th and north of 13th (the old-school grass lots between Dunn and Woodlawn) we've stood up an at&t COW again (cell on wheels) to improve coverage on game days. Cell coverage around the stadium has always been spotty, and now that there's a crowd (lol) it's even worse. Last season the COW had fantastic results...if you're in that area I'd love to hear your feedback over the course of this season, especially compared to years past.
As an aside, there are 3 temporary stop lights between Nashville and Bloomington on 46 (INDOT decided this is the year for bridge improvements on 46). If you're coming to B-town from the east, there are stoplights just after Mike's Dance Barn (I helped build it), just past Belmont (my "hometown"), and the straight stretch before Stephen's Creek Hill (long straightaway before the last big hill leading to Bloomington). There is another planned closure by the old Knight's Corner...so plan accordingly. Closures are expected through October (Brown County's tourist season)...I've worked with INDOT on a lot projects over the years, and I'm not surprised they decided to do 5 bridges in a 15 mile stretch. And, please be careful...these temp lights seem to be placed perfectly in blind corners. I've peronsally seen wrecks happen, and the skid-marks on the pavement don't lie.
@bcbranimal thanks for the updates! The COW sounds interesting. IU needs to improve their own WiFi as well, half the time it doesn’t reach the radio booth.
