@jackskip23 that's what I feared, and then I don't blame Fletcher. All I know is unless what I saw of him waiting patiently to talk to Fernando and their genuine embrace and conversation was all AI, that kid is classy.
@unclemark she is our photographer for games. It was more when we did not have a kid, but she did our Rose Bowl shots and some stuff for social media tonight.

@gthomas didn't see it until this morning and was outraged, but then saw him waiting patiently to congratulate Fernando. I don't know what precipitated that, but it seemed way out of character for Fletcher, who I'd heard speak a couple times and he was a good rep for Miami. Do you know if that was before or after he congratulated Fernando? I believe that was spillover from something that happened on the field and was unfortunate and wished it hadn't happened, but he's seemed like a really good kid.
Tucker went over and talked some shit, and those kids responded. We needed to be a little classier there, as well as after the interception.
A Miami assistant coach posted on X that Tucker made a derogatory remark about Fletcher's father, who passed away recently. That struck a nerve, understandably. I hope that it didn't happen, but that is the story according to UM.
If accurate, Tucker should be ashamed and hopefully got a major chewing out by cig. If I was the coach, his butt would be on the pine for a least the first half against North Texas (if not the entire game).
@spfldbill Thanks for the kind words...I was writing some of the play by play stuff from notes during the interminable commercial breaks but my hands were so shaky in the final moments that I was having a hard time typing plus I am not really certain what I was typing in was making much sense. I find it hard to believe Tucker did that. Talking trash sure. But he lost his mother to cancer last year. His only parent… doesn’t seem like something he’d talk trash about.
