I swear I had a minor heart attack tonight from literal exhaustion! Maybe coulda been angina or gas, but the moment I realized we for sure won, it was like life literally stopped for a good couple minutes. I fell to the floor and it took literally 4 people to pick me up and put me onto a couch. If I were to die tonight, I’d die a happy man!

As did Miami, I think. On the drives where they didn't make mistakes they were hard for us to stop. But, the better team won. That Mendoza stretch for the TD is going to be the freeze-frame image I have of this game forever like the Keith Smart shot was in 87.
Absolutely amazing season. We will probably not see it again in a lifetime. Glad I got to see it happen.
@drjb I remember watching Cig's press conference after the ND loss and he said they were too conservative, I hope I remembered that correctly, but he sure learned from that and has not been conservative since, IMHO.
My wife said dont expect them to win it next year I said i could care less about next year. This was our chance and we took it.
