Not liking this defense at all.
as others have said defense is really concerning. Hopefully it’s just week 1 jitters. Have to remind myself they didn’t look so great against Odu last year.
3rd and 9, Hoover magic in the backfield, runs away from pressure right and throws an on the run DART to Brock Schott for 25 yards
Wow! Hoover is legit!
1st and 10, Hoover from shotgun, fires one deep to Charlie B, slightly underthrown but Charlie is a beast at ball hawking, he gets infront of his defender and makes the 35 yard Touchdown catch
Another great throw and catch by Hoover anfd Becker 31-13.

Hoover is now 9-10 for 160 yards with three touchdowns after another TD pass to Charlie Becker. That's pretty darn good. Let's see if the defense can adjust and get a stop.
