Some thoughts----
--Seems like Fisher is a guy who plays his best in the big games. He was all over the field v. Oregon.
--Cig's been down on Moore some but his stats are damn good. Ferrell's solid.
--It sure seems like Jones has been better than Hardy, which is surprising. He's got that wild man LB look we've seen from guys at PSU or Iowa in past years. Not saying at all that Hardy's not been good, He has been, but he may have another gear he hasn't reached yet.
--Tucker's been surprisingly good--ABT level good to this point.
--Wyatt's game has taken off as he's learned his role.
--Kamara's not been getting the stats, but he seems like he's always around the ball. I know his role has changed. Would like to read other's thoughts on him.
--Landino's been pretty darn good, as many expected. He looks like a future ABT guy.
--Guys like Monnete & Ratcliff aren't getting the stats, but they must be plugging some holes out there....
--Ponds has been getting the shutdown corner treatment by other teams.
--I feel like Sharpe has stepped up his game. That PBU where he came flying in v. Oregon--He wouldn't have made that play last year. I think we'll see more plays from him as he gets more confident.
Your thoughts??
I don’t think Cig has been down on Moore as much as I think he just feels he has a lot more in him. He did say that now that the eligibility thing is behind him he can now put his full focus on preparation. If anything I would say Cig is very high on Moore and what he thinks he is capable of.
I think it is hard to compare Hardy and Jones. They really are playing different positions. Hardy’s speed has impressed me. We have not missed Walker nearly as much as I feared. Jones is a talent. I see him as Fisher’s replacement next year and he will be a star!
Did Ponds shut down the Moore receiver for Oregon that everyone was gushing over? Seems like the kid got only a couple of touches and not many yards out of them.

I think our pass rush had more then a little to do with Oregon and their receivers not getting open.
Our corners did make some plays last Saturday.
Isaiah “Bones” Jones is the guy who has absolutely taken his game to a new level. He was pretty good last year but is playing now at a consistently high level. He is tremendous. Great instincts. He is now a leader besides Fisher in running that defense.
The other guy that I expected this season to come on, and he’s just getting better and better, is Tyrique Tucker. Kid plays hard and loves to disrupt. He’s now a starter, where previously he was rotating in behind Wheeler.
Wyatt - I thought looked lost the first couple games but now that guy is disruptive and not overthinking the game. Just instinctual. Cig had him in a camp at JMU maybe before he signed with Maryland?
