But whose up for NYE in Pasadena, Dallas, Miami or New Orleans?

Damn thing is, my wife is scheduled for a new hip the 2nd week of December. But I have to believe there is no way she would miss it, especially the Rose Bowl if it were to happen.  That's a bucket list trip for a Hoosiers football fan.  You have to make that trip.

I can't believe this is happening. The Lynch years and the 28 point Rutgers comeback in 2015 almost got me.  Glad I stuck it out.

What a win.

In addition to being a lifelong Hoosier fan I rooted for Vanderbilt when I lived in Nashville for ten years. Mid to late 90s, 2000. Was the same stuff. Always either getting rolled or snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. One game we were up about 28 on Rutgers when they stunk. (Might have been Duke, cant remember that particular trauma much now.) By halftime. The school chancellor was in the booth yucking it up with the media like the program had finally turned the corner. Then second half... you guessed it...

I’m a long suffering fan since the Corso years when I was a kid.  My dad was an IU football fanatic and taught me what resilience really means as an IU football fan.  Wish he was still alive to witness this today.
Today was the best thing I’ve ever seen with IU football in my lifetime and that includes beating OSU at their place in 1987.  Beating a top#5 team at their place?  Nobody alive has ever seen us beat a top 5 team in their house.  Incredible.

This was like divine intervention.  Like a spiritual experience.

This thread saved me from suicide.

Thanks, probably.

If men were any more stupid, we would have breed for the extinction of women. Proof yet again that WE are the best thing they have going for them.

I’m 47 years old and this is all brand new territory for me. I’m not really sure how to act.

I know it’s huge and I know it’s awesome but I’m just trying to figure out how to process it all.

Corso final year I was a frosh. Went to the games and usually the biggest excitement was to see if we could block opponents many extra points. Because I think we had done it once.

What a win.

I'm 57 and being such, I want to say; "hang on, it gets worse". But I won't tonight.

I may not make it to bed before 10:01 I'm so pumped.

Growing up in Indy, I’d never thought the Colts woulda ever made the Super Bowl, the Pacers woulda never made an NBA Finals, Butler woulda never came close to a cbball Final 4, or our Hoosiers woulda ever made it back to the cbball Final 4, but here we are, the next best thing to hell freezing over and a possibility of IU football becoming contenders for the CFP 2 years in  a row!?!?! Am I dead or dreaming? Can someone pinch me please? In what alternative universe has this world been transformed to? I can do nothing more than enjoy this ride that I’ve never been on before!
