Yeah, saw it. IU usually comes down hard on people who blow that stuff up, but I guess it’s also their fault for not getting out in front of it.

We’ll get official word tomorrow.

Thank you for reading Hoosier Huddle

Sucks that there’s no more medical redshirts.

Lower arm way better position than upper arm I'm thinking.

Which is also better than a torn up shoulder.

@busdrivere

That’s my hope…

An injury like that would probably take me 7 months to fully recover from; it probably only takes a guy his age, with his rehab support, a quarter of that time…

A flexible cast with a pad under and over it and he’s good to go in a few weeks (against p u hopefully)…

🏈

He's in the 5 for 5 now, so he's gonna come back this year plus have another 3 years.  Sucks he's hurt, but he's still getting 3 more years.

Timeline seems long to me for a fracture in the forearm. Strap it up and go play. 😆 Use the heavy cast to bludgeon defenders.

j/k on playing too early. But in the old days the heavy cast thing was done, lol. Relieved to hear it wasn't a knee or something. I was driving home from Philly during the game and had some hit and miss audio of it. At that time all I heard was Martin out, may be a significant injury, I thought oh man...

Are you sure about that? This is his 3rd year.

At least its just an arm bone injury as opposed to a leg/knee  tendon, joint injury.  Stinks that hes in a holding pattern but at least it won't be something that hampers his ability to truly come back 100%.  His fresh legs in late October will be a blessing.
