I like the freshmen linebackers we have and know we have a couple commitments for next year that look very promising, but seems like a position that will need to be addressed in the portal. Got a lot of seniors on this years team! I wonder if in Cignetti's mind with eligibility left for Ponds, Mendoza, and Cooper last year, if he saw this as the more likely year to compete at the highest level?
@kkott it’ll be a young group in 2027 and not just the LBs, but the whole team. It’s a major transition year in my opinion.
We’ll see how guys like PJ Nelson and Jacob Savage play this year, but it could be portal heavy if Hardy does go pro.
