Love that we appear poised to land a top notch QB who is still multiple seasons away from joining the team on the field. Of course, then it will be can we can keep him in the fold until he signs and then can we keep him from transferring out before he plays.
QBs in 2027 (assuming the long shot of no one transferring in or out before then). If for some reason Cherry doesn't come back, he will likely be replaced in the portal

Unless Cash or Jameson are just that good, I expect Alberto will be the starting QB once his brother leaves.
But anyway, here's to hoping our QB room keeps getting more impressive. Can't hurt with recruiting other players.

4 days ago, in "Who's going to be Indiana next commit " I brought up the idea I thought it would be Purcell, and some reasons why. After hearing Matt on the podcast it sounds as though Purcell's commitment is closer than most here believed. Indiana has lots of reasons to be more positive than negative about Purcell selecting IU over his other major offers. Think that would be one year. After a quick check, in Illinois a child needs to be five years old by September first to start kindergarten.
Edit: Not sure why he was held back, but one year isn’t uncommon.
