4-Star WR Ja'Hyde Brown de-cmmitted from IU today. I have confirmed this. I would not be shocked if he ends up at Louisville. The next question is if Garyon Hobbs will follow Brown out the door. Right now it does not seem so, but they do look like they are tied at the hip.
Can't blame the kid for staying close to home.
I guess winning a national title isn’t enough to prevent recruits from de-committing and going to inferior programs.
It's college football recruiting. Flips will go for and against us. Not a big deal.
Good intel on Garyon.
Bye!
Next man up!
not breaking anything here as sammy alluded to it but i think money played a big role.
i'm also not all that worried about iu bringing in talented wr when they're about to boast two (likely) top 2 round picks this year (cooper and sarratt) and maybe even next year (becker and marsh).
Sucks but this staff will find someone better.
Some people are saying coach wasn't happy about him entertaining other offers while committed. Not sure if it’s true.

We didn't want to lose him, but Cig wasn't gonna defer from his recruiting strategy.
@thehoosierhuddle yep. They weren't going to kick him to the curb if he would have stuck to our offer, but he didn't. They wanted him to a certain point. He went beyond that point.
Do you know if this was because Brown was still going on recruiting visits (I know some coaches dont allow that), lack of NIL or is just a case of him wanting to stay home?
@hoosierdaddy It was because IU will not over pay for a kid. They have a valuation of a player and will not go over it.
Is Louisville that desperate for him? Couldn’t other schools try to buy away IU’s best recruits?
