I'm surprised about Black not being on the RB list.

@hooky He was at the Senior Bowl. Maybe scouts saw what they needed to see, but a little surprising.

@thehoosierhuddle I didn't even think about.  I bet you're right.  You couldn't watch a show with talking heads at the end of the year without hearing them talking about both of our guys being in an NFL camp.

There is one "snub" that no one is talking about...Devan Boykin. He had a GREAT year.

@thehoosierhuddle I’ve seen him mocked as a late rounder. PFF rated him the #1 safety for run defense and top 10 overall.

The good news is we will have plenty of scouts at our pro day for the guys who didn’t get invites

Kaelon and Boykin not getting invites is a shame.  They'll be priority UDFA's at the worst.  Same with Hemby, Riley, and possibly Moore, just because of his age.  We'll have at least 6 guys names called from the podium easily.

I just realized Kamara isn't on the list either and wasn't at the senior bowl.

@hooky Kamara is the biggest snub of all. He’s been arguably the most productive DL in college football over the past two years

I know he has some serious size concerns (and speed if he were to play OLB), but the guy is a machine. He gives so much effort on every snap and his technique is top tier

@hooky there's a certain degree to where on paper, he fell off a TON this year production wise.  IIRC he was a bit banged up the majority of the year and that had an impact.  However, his presence makes an difference, and that is probably not lost on scouts.  Without studying film, I have a notion that the other side of the D-Line benefited from teams planning for Kamara because of how disruptive he was last year.  Wyatt, Daley, and ultimately Ndukwe I think all got a chance to shine as a result.

Miami must've missed the memo on that punt though. 😉

He played multiple positions this year, drew double teams that freed up others, and generally did anything asked of him to make this team go.  I hope a team sees that and gives him a chance in camp.

@kelly_32 - It was a legit ass beating.  I never thought that we would be able to make Bama quit in that game..... just an amazing day for us, and an embarrassing one for them.  Not sure DeBoer will be able to recover from that one..... we shall see!

That said, teams still get the benefit of being the "it team" for these types of events.  I have full confidence that our guys will get their shot.  Production > Potential
