I want to win and shock the world. See what we get. I predict a trick play by Cig! Go Hoosiers.
I'm nearly certain from recollection last years running backs rushed for more yards against Ohio St. than any opponent they faced all season.
I know I was pissed we didn't keep pounding them on the ground and go over 300 yards rushing.
Thought it was a strategic mistake. I know going full Iowa offense isn't sexy, but it can be very effective in the B1G against great teams.
We all know the pass blocking against them was very sub par. Gotta be better mentally/verbally against blitzes.
Also, giving them 21 points on special teams and garbage time tds, made the final score not tell the real game story.
Given the rushing stat above, I cringe every stinking time I hear a pundit/hack state our o-line was dominated by Ohio St. last season. It's not the true story.
I'm not a bettor, but my gut says shootout and the Over against the Ducks.
Oregon O-line is massive. Just checked. 320's + Illinois had trouble with our D line speed. One can only hope we can have some effect. If no, long day I'm afraid. Go Hoosiers!
We might be the second best team in the B1G. 😳
Headline popped up telling me line has moved 'in Indiana's favor' to -9.5 .
That's not in our favor, I wanted a bet down at 10.5 ... lol
Smart money coming in on the Hoosiers?
I’m seeing an even bigger move: +7.5 to + 8.5 right now across the sports books.
Interesting.
Snap count at the shoe and ND was a big problem. However, there was improvement from OSU to the ND game and Iowa was a bit better. All things considered (aside from Iowa missing the field goal near the end) Iowa had a ton of things (including 50/50 calls) go their way throughout the game. IU was not beating themselves like they did against OSU and somewhat at South Bend last season.
@tammany not sure why this trend???
Good question. I don’t know if the public or the sharps move the lines like we’ve seen this season with our games.
I'm not an expert, but heard one who is say last week that public money doesn't move lines this much. It's the sharps.

Forgive the ignorance, but what is a “sharp(s)”? Thanks.

Evolved over time from card sharp/shark implying cheats or unethical edge, to mean the smart money. The pro.
