Then the day after a huge, probably biggest game ever, victory? I didn’t go to sleep until past 4, got up about 11 and been on social media, watching playoff picks, and getting ready to watch the game. Last night may have been my favorite sports event ever.

I went to bed at 1, but that is really, really late for me, so it's probably like 4 for you.
I'm still a little high on adrenaline nearly 24 hours later.
I live in Ohio. I have put up with more Buckeye bullshit in the past 27 years than a man ever should. I went to the grocery store this morning fully decked out in IU gear. I honest to God took a couple of extra laps through the store because of all the death stares I was generating, all while smiling from ear to ear!

Ranks right up there with the day you said I'd won out over Joe.
Truth. It was posted right here in this forum. She said I came in second behind Cig, but I did at least beat out Joe. My chest was puffed out for a good 48 hours.
Atta boy. Really pisses them off when you point out IU held them well under 100 yd. rushing and Hoosiers gained well over 100. To top that they were 0 points scored 2nd half.
@hoosier-clarion yah, one of my Buckeye “friends” in particular didn’t appreciate me pointing out that I scored more after the game than Ohio State did in the second half 😎

I tried to go to bed at 1AM but the adrenaline was still too much. Tossed and turned then got up at 7AM to rewatch the game, having recorded it. Then I rewatched the 3rd quarter 88 yard IU TD drive about 5 times.
Last night was sleep catch-up.

Then (since Indiana had no NFL team when I was a kid) I followed the Patriots, who were the NFL equivalent of IU football from the mid 70s to 2000, but I was rewarded in 2001, 2003, 2004, 2014, 2016 (28-3 comeback!!!!), and 2018 (maybe 2025!!!!)
This is in its own category and, while unfinished, is amazing. It's awesome being the overlooked, underrated, SMART, well-coached TEAM.

@shooter You just can't watch that Sarratt TD, Becker downfield, and Becker late sideline catch too much! Also, the L Moore interception and Hardy pass break up. Lot's of great moments in that game. Heck, watching Fernando get his head whiplashed to start, and then trotting back on the field 1 play later was amazing!
Just barely recall 1953 NC. Then Milan the next year. Only remember they were big BB happenings. Really couldn't make a hand out of all those cards. But this B1G Championship game is tops in sporting events for me. Never ever thought it would be possible in my lifetime. I was in attendance Saturday night in the Luke. Don't get no better than that. Best 5 Heinekens I've ever drank commenced about 1:11 Sunday morning. Slept like a well fed baby. Ah how damn satisfying!
